While on this day we Americans honor all those service people who have lost their lives fighting for causes of freedom, here’s a special tribute to those who were, or are, willing to risk their lives without even any belief they could get them back if they lost them:

    Thank you so much for that tribute. I served in the USAF from 1993-2005. I am a member of MAAF and a very proud Atheist. My husband is still on Active Duty and gave up his religious beliefs 5 yrs ago and is also a proud Atheist. Yes we do exist, always have and always will.
