Through a series of errors and bad choices interesting to me but which would be boring to anyone else, I’m waiting here at the Mineola train station at 2am. It’s four and a half hours after my classes ended for the night, and yet I am still waiting to begin my nearly 2 hour trek from Long Island back to my apartment in Manhattan.
And we have this nifty new mobile version of the website which is making it possible to blog. So I figured, for the novelty and the company, I would send this missive out as an experiment in blogging from my phone. Is anyone else still up (or say, living somewhere in Europe, Australia or otherwise well east of New York) who would like to either cheer me up in the comments or use the comments section as a late night in the US/early morning in the UK lounge/open thread?
Your Thoughts?

HAIL FROGLORD!
…you asked for my thoughts at 2:30am, you have no one to blame but yourself.

Thanks, that’s exactly what I want, your true overnight thoughts. And it made me smile, so thanks!
So, how long till the train arrives?
it turned out to be just another 5 minutes. But I didn’t make it home until around 3:45. Sigh.
I’m a night owl anyway, but I couldn’t sleep tonight if I wanted to. Something behind my apartment building is rattling my windows with subsonic vibrations.
I’m awake. I’m finishing my post for tomorrow. It’s about adventure, and how important it is, and how being willing to put up with shitty experiences is an essential part of an adventurous life. I hope being at the Mineola train station at 2am counts.
Well, it brought your first comment to my blog, so there is a silver lining I guess.
I look forward to the morning’s post!
Hopefully you are not still up. I couldn’t sleep last night and finally just got out of bed and am watching the 2009 Star Trek movie. Something about hearing superogatory defined is entirely too amusing for this hour of the morning.
I do hope you can sleep in today?
ha, no, I gotta leave in half an hour and won’t be home until 7
